It seems that all my life's experiences brought me to Health and Patient Advocacy. The countries I lived in, the people I met, and the work experiences that I enjoyed, influence me still today. Long before this type of advocacy became a profession, I was committed and enthusiastic about the work I wanted to pursue. Working with people and their loved ones to maximize their health and wellness outcomes is a passion and an honor for me.
I am compassionate, dedicated, detail-oriented and highly ethical. In my advocacy work, I structure my approach using eight concepts (pillars) of human functions and needs which I consider when developing a suggested plan of care/action. Using a comprehensive and holistic approach, I am able to accomplish more than just temporary band-aids for my clients. Instead, we work together to develop long-lasting strategies that my clients can utilize for many years to come. In my concierge work, I relieve my clients of worry, stress and time by taking over health related responsibilities for them including scheduling appointments, care coordination, research and referral, and inpatient bedside advocacy. And in my Aging-in-Place work, I assist Seniors in achieving their dream to stay in their homes safely and comfortably for as long as they choose to.
During our initial call, I will gain understanding of your situation and your needs. If we agree that we should like work together, we will discuss what that could look like. If your needs are not in line with my skills, or if you do not wish to work together, I will do my best to help you find an appropriate match with another advocate or other professional.
