I'm Maria and I've been in the field of healthcare for 27 years - 15 years as a medical case manager and 12 years in healthcare administration (overseeing quality, access, and patient experience). My specialty is working with solo agers, dink (dual income no kids), adult children concerned for aging parents and anyone desiring a higher level of medical care. I serve clients of all ages with the same goal - making sure their medical decisions are more manageable and they do not feel isolated or alone in their healthcare journey. I will be their cheerleader and the one fighting to ensure they get quality care. My goal is to provide supportive and compassionate guidance to my clients to decrease the overwhelm and stress they are feeling, along with any healthcare obstacles they are experiencing, so they can instead focus on their health and wellbeing.

Having extensive experience in the field of healthcare as well as personal experience from aging parents (mom pancreatic cancer, father lung disease & 2 previous brain bleeds), I know firsthand how broken our healthcare system is and how difficult it can be to navigate. My familiarity with the what, when, where and who to call combined with my leadership, persistence, organization, and strong communication skills help educate and empower patients so they can make the best decisions for their health. I am a doer in healthcare and know how to make things happen. Just as important though, I believe in the Golden Rule and treat my clients with respect, dignity, integrity, honesty, kindness, transparency, and the highest level of professionalism. So, whether it's coordinating care, attending doctors’ appointments, overseeing hospitalizations, appealing denials, or involving administration to ensure patients’ rights, I will advocate for you or your loved one.
