I have over 7 years of experience advocating for everything from orthopedic surgery and neurological MRIs to Social Security reinstatement and medication exceptions. I have an extensive background in managing homes, the lives, and the care of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, but have worked with people from all walks of life. If you're trying to: - understand or manage a new diagnosis or a chronic one - find a new physician or a second opinion - make heads or tails of bills, benefits, and insurance - create systems to manage your health or medications comfortably at home - get your care team to talk to each other efficiently - plan for the future or find a good placement for long-term care - or so much more You've come to the right place.
I want to help you achieve your health goals, and to get you the information, care, and respect everyone deserves (while hopefully making your life a lot easier). I am also driven by my desire to help people and to empower them to help themselves. Along the way, I encourage my clients to be as involved and in control as they are comfortable being, but regardless of who's talking to the doctors, your goals are always my guide.
Our first 15 minutes is a chance for us to see if we're a good fit. I'll ask about your journey and goals and tell you a bit about my experience, style, and knowledge. I'll share my initial thoughts, we'll discuss how I can help, and if everything aligns, I'll send a contract and we can get started!
