I spent over a decade working as a bedside clinician both pre-hospital and in the hospital in emergency and critical care, as well as had numerous personal experiences with family, where I saw patients struggling to navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. It was with these experiences that I decided to go back to school and obtain my PhD in healthcare ethics and become an ethicist and a health advocate. I want to make sure no one is lost in the shuffle and no one falls through the cracks, and that everyone has a chance to meet their healthcare goals. I am here to be your support and advocate for you! (no pun intended) :-)

I am empathetic, driven, and passionate about ensuring your voice is heard and your goals are the focus of your healthcare journey. I work to get to know you and understand how I can guide you through the healthcare system by helping you make informed decisions regarding your healthcare or the healthcare of your loved ones. I truly listen to your needs and focus on what you are saying to ensure that all providers are on the same page when a care plan is put together.

In our 15-minute call, I will introduce myself and learn about your requirements for your health advocate. I will learn a little bit about you, what your goals and needs are, what you want from your health advocate, and how I can help you or your family member. If everything sounds good, I will send you a contract and a welcome email and then we can begin working together towards your goals.
