Welcome to our NEW Advocacy Team! Expertise both you and your provider can trust. Our True North beliefs are that healing should be available to the whole person, and advocacy means closing the gap between the ideal and the real. We are ready to support you in adapting to change, navigating interprofessional conversations with confidence, and improving your quality of life. Call on us for a diplomatic approach that works.
We advocate autonomy and dignity for our clients. Why? Working in hospitals we understand that patients deserve respect and thorough follow-up across the care continuum. With over fifteen years of also providing community-level and out-of-hospital advocacy to patients, we can strategically apply doctoral training with degrees in medical sociology and sociology to provide you with a uniquely empowering and effective path forward. You can expect high-quality emotional support with an uncommonly accurate level of strategic advisory from our expertise in the doctor-patient relationship. We advise on all types of medical communication and specialize in whole-person, socioculturally sensitive support for clients and their families. Leading the way in medical diplomacy, we change the dynamics of care for the better.
The first step is a meet-and-greet to get to know one another, focusing on your advocacy concerns and goals. During this 45-minute call, you will have our chief care advocate's undivided attention while we each determine whether there is a potential fit. We'll discuss how we can help, so it is recommended to prepare a few key questions. For example, you could ask how a consultation can add value to your healthcare journey and how the process of working together would proceed. If everything sounds good, we'll send a contract, and we can schedule your comprehensive assessment. We look forward to meeting you.
