About

Terri Lemere founded Healthy Home Living Solutions, LLC in 2020, in order to help her clients create the life they want and need. Terri has been a practicing Occupational Therapist for 26 years in the Frederick County area. She has vast experience working in a variety of settings – skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehab, outpatient, hospital, assisted living facilities, and home health. She has found that many people just aren’t aware of the potential and possibilities of aging in place in their own homes. Unfortunately, as we get older and our needs change, living in an environment that doesn’t meet our changing needs can result in the necessity to seek a higher level of care. Terri’s goal with Healthy Home Living Solutions, LLC is to provide a holistic service to her clients that will empower them and their caregivers/families to age well and live the lives that they desire – as independently as possible. Terri earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology in 1991 from The University of South Carolina, and her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1996 from Towson University. She chose to take the geriatric track, focusing on OT with the older adult. Terri went on to earn her Executive Certificate in Home Modification from USC Leonard Davis, School of Gerontology in 2020. She also became a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) in 2020. She is happy to have also been accepted into the Aging Life Care Association ® as an Aging Life Care Manager ®. Terri is a member of the Home Modification Occupational Therapy Alliance, the American Occupational Therapy Association, and NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). She lives in Middletown, Maryland (Frederick County) with her husband, two college-aged sons, and Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She currently serves as the Public Relations Chair for Frederick Elder Services Provider Council, is active with the Aging Network Alliance, and supports her favorite charity, Supporting Older Adults Through Resources, Inc. (SOAR Frederick), as often as she can. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends, and also practicing what she preaches – living life to the fullest!
