I have spent over 40 years of my nursing career in the acute care hospital setting, with the past 20 years as the top nursing executive directing patient care. Through my various experiences, I witnessed patients' challenges in navigating their care through our confusing and complicated healthcare system. This motivated me to depart from my demanding leadership role and follow my passion as a nurse – establishing a private patient advocacy practice has been a dream come true. I now dedicate my time, 1:1, to supporting the individualized needs that my patients and their families are encountering.

My focus is on relationships and collaboration. I will always be advocating to ensure your voice is heard, that you have adequate information and knowledge to make crucial decisions regarding your health care and that we have unique strategies aimed at solutions to overcome any obstacles. I am present for my clients whenever they need me. I am a passionate nurse committed to those I care for and care about. I will make a difference!

“Our” introductory call will be unique! My business partner, Linda Conway, and I will spend 30 minutes getting to know you, learning about your healthcare-related issues, and what you are looking for in an Advocate. We worked together in healthcare for over ten years; my focus was more on clinical/nursing leadership, and hers more on risk management/legal. Together, we bring a unique skill set and can create exceptional strategies. Following our introductory call, we will develop a scope of services describing our proposed professional engagement. There will never be double billing – we are very good at developing a plan that distributes our efforts based on each other’s expertise. But we see our approach as clients getting “two for one.” Once you have accepted our proposal, we are set to begin working with you immediately!
