I am a very passionate, detailed oriented professional. My mission is to walk beside clients and family members in their personal healthcare journey. At Fleur De Lis Nurse-Patient Advocacy, I will help develop a customized care plan to address identified areas of concern, educate client and family members, provide an in-depth review of medications (ex: interactions, nutrient-blocking effects, contraindications), review medical records, create a medical history timeline, identify nutritional needs, facilitate communication with the healthcare providers, speak with health care providers and relatives on the client's behalf, attend physician appointments (live or Telehealth), advocate for the client, research and present treatment options, assist with the informed decision-making process, provide referrals for services, and help to establish the big picture. We first start with a free 30-minute consultation. This is an initial phone or Zoom conversation to discuss the client’s needs, share what a nurse-patient advocate can do, and determine if Fleur de Lis Nurse-Patient Advocacy can help. The next step is a 2-3 hour in-person or virtual meeting that reviews the client’s comprehensive health history, identifies concerns, establishes goals, and discusses the next steps. Following the assessment, a retainer fee may be purchased if the client would like to continue services. The client will identify how many hours to purchase in advance. Please keep in mind that I live in Central Texas but can help those who live in California, but remotely.
