I have worked in multiple roles throughout the healthcare system. In behavioral health, I treated teens and adults with substance abuse and behavioral health diagnoses, and as a case manager reviewing cases with insurance companies to obtain covered days for behavioral health benefits. In medical health, I worked as an advocate in the hospital reviewing and responding to patient care complaints and grievances, educated staff on how to promote patient safety, and collaborated with staff across multiple specialties to obtain resolutions to care issues. It was during this role that I found my true passion for patient advocacy and helping patients fight for appropriate care.

I like to start from a place of understanding. No two patients with the same diagnosis present with the exact same symptoms or issues. My goal is to work WITH clients and their families to reach their healthcare goals.
